Only Orange smarties are flavored.
For those who don't get Smarties in their countries, they are sugar coated chocolates. The coating comes in many different colors, much like M&Ms. However, a little known secret behind these delicious candies is that the orange colored Smartie has orange flavoring! If you have any smarties from your Halloween candy, taste the coating of each one.
They all have the same flavor except for the orange ones which tastes like oranges! This flavoring is added in a separate process during manufacturing

Random Fact of The Day!! Wednesday

The Mir diamond mine is so large that it sucks in helicopters with its downward air flow.

Also known as the Mirny mine, this mine in Siberia is the second-largest diamond mine in the world. It’s 1,722 feet deep and 3,900 feet wide. The giant hole had to be cut into thick permafrost, and it required the use of jet engines and explosives to dig into it. At its peak of production, the Mir mine produced over 10 million carats of diamonds every year. After a few accidents involving the mine sucking in helicopters, the airspace above is now off-limits.

Random Fact of the Day

When you say “Sahara Desert” you’re actually saying “Desert Desert.”

The name Sahara comes from Arabic, and it translates to “desert.” This mean when we say Sahara Desert, we’re really just repeating ourselves! The Sahara, the largest desert in the world at 9,400,000 square kilometers, covers most of Northern Africa and is almost as large as the United States!

It stretches from the Red Sea to the Atlantic Ocean and includes parts of the Mediterranean. The desert used to be much wetter than it is today, however climate change has drastically expanded the size and temperature of the “Desert Desert.”

Random Fact of the Day!

Playing an instrument can raise your IQ up to five points!

Many young children are encouraged to play instruments, but did you know there is actually intellectual benefits from it?
When you play an instrument, you train your body to learn many new actions. This increases brain activity, and the music itself can boost your IQ! For the fastest IQ boost, classical music is the best to listen to because the sound frequencies used are very specific and place the mind in highly distinctive states. If you play the music yourself, it can have an even more dramatic effect!
