Language Arts

Our newest unit in E.L.A. is entitled Tales - Heroes, Deeds, and Wonders.  Throughout March and April, we will be reading, writing, speaking about, and listening to the literature genre of tales, specifically myths.  As we work together, the students will have many opportunities to think about tales about mythical people and creatures they have read or heard, to tell myths, to role-play and dramatize myths, to read myths written by others, and to write their own.
